Open race

Summary

Machine-generated summary

A German contracting authority is procuring research and development services concerning the design of construction site access points on autobahns, where construction vehicles enter and exit work zones within longitudinal traffic. No standards currently exist for such access points, which create conflict points affecting road safety and traffic flow. The research should systematically investigate these access points on motorways, develop scientifically based recommendations for planning, design and operation, define assessment criteria for safety, traffic flow and practicality, and propose updates to existing regulations.

Description

Expected award price

likely award for this notice, from its published estimate of €235,294
€232,941 to €235,294

This buyer's comparable awards in this sector came in at a median of 99% of their published estimate, half of them between 99% and 100%, based on 8 awards of the last 3 years.

Each award is compared with the estimate of the same lots, framework agreements excluded. A published estimate may include options and renewals, so an award under it is not always a discount.
