Summary

Machine-generated summary

The Eisenbahn-Bundesamt awarded a research contract on the evaluation of the potential of sector-specific cybersecurity profiles for the railway sector. The profiles are intended to set requirements and specifications for railway processes and components, comparable to the BSI IT-Grundschutz modules, and to speed up security engineering and improve secure system operation. INCYDE industrial cyber defense GmbH won the contract for EUR 111,000. The awarded price is 12% below the estimate of EUR 126,805.14. The contract was awarded on 2026-08-26.
