Summary

Machine-generated summary

The Eisenbahn-Bundesamt awarded a research contract on vegetation management for railway tracks. The project covers extensive vegetation surveys and mapping on various railway track installations, assessment of track infrastructure condition, identification or simulation-based determination of the maximum vegetation coverage compatible with operational safety and track maintenance, and evaluation of biological or nature-identical substances for vegetation control. The contract was awarded to Beak Consultants GmbH for EUR 832,128. The awarded price is 1% below the estimated value of EUR 838,073.06. The award date was 2026-09-08. No contract duration, number of bids or return-to-market date is stated in the notice.
