Machine-generated summary

The Bundesanstalt für Straßen- und Verkehrswesen procured a feasibility study on spatial analyses to identify improvement potential for safety on rural roads. The aim was to investigate whether police accident data alone can indicate regional infrastructure deficits on the rural road network, and what accident data basis is needed for that purpose. The contract was awarded to PTV Transport Consult GmbH. The awarded value was EUR 178,500, compared with an estimated value of EUR 151,260.50. According to the official record, the awarded price was 18% above the estimate. The procurement is concluded and the contract has been awarded.
