Summary

Machine-generated summary

The buyer, the Federal Highway Research Institute (BASt) in Germany, is procuring research and development services to implement a digital twin of a road infrastructure structure. The project will build a functioning object twin of a pilot bridge, validating the BASt IT framework architecture. Three use cases are covered: life cycle management for maintenance planning, dynamic condition-based monitoring using sensor data, and a third use case to be agreed with BASt. Data from records, inspections, monitoring and specialist systems will be integrated. The results will support future pilot projects and integration into operational maintenance processes. Interested companies should consult the full tender documents for participation requirements.
