Summary

Machine-generated summary

The Federal Highway Research Institute (Bundesanstalt für Straßen- und Verkehrswesen) awarded a research contract on how the acoustic properties of rolled asphalt surface courses change over time under traffic loading. The work supports noise prevention under the 16th Federal Immission Control Act and the RLS-19 guidelines, building on the earlier project FE 04.0333/2021/BRB covering SMA 8 S, SMA 8 LA and DSH-V5 surfaces on 15 new construction sites. The contract was awarded to the bidding consortium Müller-BBM Industry Solutions GmbH and Asphalta Prüf- und Forschungslaboratorium GmbH for EUR 336,134.45, against an estimated value of EUR 336,134.45.
