Summary

Machine-generated summary

This German research and development tender seeks a contractor to assess and develop measurement methods for evaluating longitudinal evenness of concrete road surfaces with ground (grinded) textures. Current High-Speed Monitoring systems cannot reliably measure these surfaces because the grooved pattern distorts laser height readings. Work includes describing the effects of directed grinding textures on common profile measurement systems, comparing adapted or alternative contactless systems against measurements with a planograf device, and identifying, developing and testing a contactless method for measuring ground structures.
