Summary

Machine-generated summary

Engineering design services (phases 1 to 5) are being procured for the fundamental rehabilitation of the Falkenberg tram depot and terminal. The project covers the planning of approximately 1 km of individual tracks, partly on a dedicated trackbed and partly flush with the road at the bus turning loop, with a side platform at the directional stop. The open slab track currently resting on ballast must be rebuilt as greened 'Neues Berliner Strassenbahngleis' (NBS), with plated crossings converted to NBS with asphalt surfacing. Tracks 1 and 2 are to be extended by relocating points 216 and 217, creating sufficient dwell times for longer and more frequent tram services.
