Summary

Machine-generated summary

The town of Jülich, a regional centre of around 35,000 inhabitants in the Düren district, is procuring freelance landscape architecture services (open space planning) for the development of the 'green-blue band' in its city centre. The project also covers tourist visitor guidance and the networking of this corridor with the town centre, closing a gap between ongoing structural-change projects. Jülich lies on historic and tourist routes such as the Via Belgica, Grünroute, RurUfer cycle path and the Way of St James, and the scheme aims to create an interdisciplinary, sustainable planning approach for green-blue infrastructure.
