Description

NHS Grampian is seeking to procure a complete turnkey replacement flatwork ironer line for its laundry operations. The requirement includes the supply, delivery, installation, testing, commissioning, training, warranty support and handover of a new feeder unit, ironer and folder/stacker system, together with all associated controls, ancillary equipment, documentation and support services. The successful Contractor shall provide a complete operational solution, including all labour, plant, materials, transport, supervision, commissioning activities, training and documentation necessary to deliver a fully operational system. Works shall include removal and disposal of existing equipment where specified, mechanical, electrical, steam, pneumatic and control connections, integration with existing systems where required, testing, commissioning and site acceptance activities. Award Criteria Quality/Technical (35%) Methodology and Approach - 15% Tenderers shall demonstrate their proposed methodology and approach to delivering the requirement, including programme management, sequencing of works, mobilisation and implementation arrangements. Experience and Qualifications - 10% Tenderers shall demonstrate relevant experience in delivering comparable projects and provide evidence of qualifications, competencies and certifications relating to key personnel. Health and Safety - 5% Tenderers shall provide evidence of their health and safety arrangements, risk management processes and workforce competence. Environmental Considerations - 2.5% Tenderers shall demonstrate how the requirement will be delivered in an environmentally responsible and sustainable manner. Contractual Terms, Quality Assurance, Warranty and Guarantees - 2.5% Tenderers shall provide details of quality management arrangements, warranties, guarantees and approaches to delivering value throughout the contract period. Price (65%) Tenderers shall complete and submit the Pricing Schedule provided with the procurement documentation. Award shall be based on a combined quality and price assessment, with weighting of 35% quality and 65% price.
