Summary

Machine-generated summary

The buyer is procuring heavy mechanical tamping maintenance works, ballast regulating and geometric survey of the overhead contact line on lines A and B of the RER network in Paris. Works cover running track as well as track switches and their connections, in tunnels (multiple or single track) and outdoors in open-air sections. Tamping corrects isolated track geometry defects or realigns longer sections that deviate from the theoretical reference track. It also ensures clearance of obstacle gauges, platform heights and inter-track spacings. The contract is a single-operator framework agreement with call-offs, with a minimum value of 5,000,000 EUR and a maximum of 8,000,000 EUR. Work takes at least 5 weeks per year on line A and 3 weeks on line B, in spring and autumn campaigns, with possible extra weeks planned with the contractor.
