University Hospital of Cologne (AöR), one of the largest maximum-care hospitals in North Rhine-Westphalia with over 1,500 planned beds and around 60,000 inpatient plus more than 350,000 outpatient cases annually, intends to engage an experienced healthcare-specialised management consultant. The consultant will support the hospital in tackling its financial, organisational and structural challenges, developing and implementing a comprehensive transformation programme with the commercial management. The aim is to sustainably improve economic performance by identifying, prioritising and implementing revenue-increasing and cost-reducing measures, supported by KPI-based controlling and change management. Potential lies in the medical service portfolio, materials and supply cost management, subsidiary structures, administrative areas and staffing and shift planning.
