Summary

Machine-generated summary

The Federal Institute for Real Estate Tasks (BImA) plans to realise and operate a multifunctional office complex for ministerial use on the former Postblockareal, part of the so-called 'Postblock Nord' in Berlin-Mitte. Through this Europe-wide procedure, BImA seeks a highly qualified private contractor for the planning, construction and subsequent operation of the project. Key goals are appealing architecture, meeting space and area requirements, and complying with BImA requirements on sustainability, accessibility and technical building equipment. After commissioning, the contractor must provide technical building management services and infrastructural building management services, including cleaning, care of outdoor facilities and winter services, plus higher-level object management and administration, for 25 years. Planning, construction and operation span a total of 30 years. Documents for the first-stage participation competition are available for free download.
