Summary

Machine-generated summary

The Federal Ministry for the Environment, Nature Conservation, Nuclear Safety and Consumer Protection (BMUV) commissioned scientific ad hoc analyses on implementing the EU Methane Regulation, which entered into force in 08/2024 and regulates methane emissions from fossil resources, including reporting, monitoring, leak repair, import obligations and MRV requirements. The contract was awarded to Deutsche Energie-Agentur GmbH (dena) for EUR 280,613.53. The awarded price is 18% above the estimated value of EUR 237,368. Award date: 2026-08-14.

Description

So müssen gem. (inkl. öffentliche Unternehmen) und privatwirtschaftl.Seite • Beratung zu Methanintensitätshöchstwerten • Analysen zu Öl- und Gasmärkten, insbes. Versorgungssicherheitsaspekte • Auswertung von Vorschlägen der Europäischen Kommission (KOM) (inklusive Weiterentwicklung der VO), insbes. von Entwürfen von Tertiärrechtsakten, KOM-Empfehlungen, KOM-Guidelines (KOM-Initiativen). Neben selbständig zu erbringenden wissenschaftl.-techn. Auswertungen aktueller Entwicklungen sollen kurzfristig polit. Fragestellungen wissenschaftl. flankiert werden.
