Summary

Machine-generated summary

This tender procures research and development services to identify and validate a new measurement method for assessing the skid resistance of structured road markings and coloured surfaces in Germany. The current standard SRT method is unsuitable for these surfaces, which are crucial for the safety of motorcyclists and cyclists. The buyer is a German public entity. The project aims to test longitudinal force continuous measurement devices, establish evaluation criteria, recommend friction requirements, and create a practical testing guide. Results will inform an upcoming European standard revision. No specific deadline, estimated value, or procedure details were provided in the tender text.
