Summary

Machine-generated summary

The contracting authority is procuring planning services for the replacement of a railway bridge over the Dortmund-Ems Canal at line 2250, km 39,585, in Datteln, Germany. The existing bridge, with a span of about 70 m, is in poor condition and must be renewed promptly to avoid a slow-speed section or possible line closure. Because of the planned canal widening by the federal waterways administration (WSV), the new bridge requires a span of about 100 m. The services cover object and structural planning, traffic planning, adjustment of overhead contact line systems, and adaptation of signalling technology. Works must ensure the structure is safe and fully usable for railway operation.
