Summary

Machine-generated summary

A German contracting authority is procuring engineering planning services under HOAI service phases 1 to 9 for expanding the aeration stage at the Ober-Erlenbach wastewater treatment plant. The aeration tanks currently operate at capacity limit, so additional aeration volume is to be built and the treatment process adapted. Works include conversion or demolition of tanks 1 and 2, adaptation of tank 3, new tanks, adjustments to distribution chambers, blower station upgrade, and a possible new intermediate pumping station. Planning must support energy efficiency and energy neutrality by 2045 under the EU Urban Wastewater Treatment Directive, plus renewable energy options such as photovoltaics, battery storage and heat recovery.
