Summary

Machine-generated summary

The German Aerospace Center (DLR) is procuring structural engineering services for the new construction of the 'Human Exploration Control Center' (HECC) at its Oberpfaffenhofen site. The building will evolve from the Columbus Control Centre and will operate the two ESA modules I-HAB and ERM on the Lunar Gateway space station, part of NASA's Artemis programme. The work will be carried out in partnership with ESA at the DLR Space Operations Centre (GSOC), securing astronautical mission operations there for around 20 to 25 years beyond the expected end of the ISS in 2030. The contract covers structural planning services in phases 2 to 6 under German HOAI fee regulations.
