Summary

Machine-generated summary

This tender concerns the conversion, restructuring and repair of the listed Nikolaikirche church in Anklam, Germany. The city of Anklam intends to give the church a permanent use as the Lilienthal Flight Museum (LFM) and to rebuild the tower spire to its original height of around 103 m, following its original form. The works involve stabilising and preserving the existing masonry surfaces, both on the facade and in the interior, which show heavy damage caused by wartime destruction and long periods as a ruin. Damaging factors include soluble salts, gypsum and elevated moisture. The historic appearance with all findings and traces of ageing is to be preserved; reconstructive interventions are not planned. Differentiated techniques are to be used depending on the value of the historic fabric.
