Description

HIE requires a suitably qualified Contractor to design and deliver a practical Climate Action Support programme for businesses, social enterprises, community organisations, charities and third-sector organisations across the Highlands and Islands. The programme will help participants understand their emissions, identify realistic decarbonisation opportunities, consider climate risks and adaption needs, strengthen resilience and develop practical Climate Action Plans. See Appendix A - Scope of Requirements document for full details. It is expected that these services will be required from November 2026 for an initial period of 12 months, with HIE having the option to extend for a period or periods together not exceeding 6 months following the Initial Term. The maximum (12 months + 6 months extension) budget currently available is GBP 49,500 (maximum) (excluding VAT). This budget is inclusive of fees, day rates and provision for recovery of any other expenses, including but not limited to, travel and subsistence and travel time.
