Finland - Laboratory, optical and precision instruments (excluding eyeglasses) - Orbion Pro 120

The University of Helsinki has awarded a contract for the purchase of an Orbion Pro 120 instrument for its Institute for Atmospheric and Earth System Research (INAR). The instrument must meet several technical requirements essential for the research: a mass resolution of at least 120,000, chemical ionisation at ambient pressure, measuring sensitivity down to the ppq level, automatic switching between positive and negative polarity during online measurements, the option to change the reagent ion and ionisation chemistry during a measurement series, MS/MS capability with isolation and fragmentation of a selected precursor ion, and the ability to measure a chemically broad molecular spectrum with one integrated system. The buyer is the University of Helsinki.
