National Grid Electricity Transmission (NGET) plans to establish a framework for Sulphur Hexafluoride (SF6) leak repair, leak reduction and preventative treatment services across its Gas Insulated Switchgear and Gas Insulated Busbar assets at transmission substations throughout Great Britain. Contractors will design, install, test, inspect and quality assure external, non-intrusive repair solutions, ideally without taking equipment out of service.
