In November 2025, the new Life Sciences Strategy for Scotland was published. This 10-year strategy sets a direction of travel, with actions set out in a series of delivery plans which can be adapted and enhanced as progress is made and new opportunities emerge. It includes a commitment to establish a new industry-led cluster development organisation (CDO). We will soon be seeking bids for a new Cluster Development Organisation to support the Life Sciences sector in Scotland. Scottish Enterprise will host an information session for interested parties to attend and hear more about this opportunity at 2pm on Thursday 6th August 2026. Interest in joining this information session can be registered by emailing lesley.reid@scotent.co.uk and gordon.hutton@scotent.co.uk. A link to the session will then be provided. For any interested parties unable to attend the session, it will be recorded and shared via the PIN on PCS with questions and answers raised during the session also available via the PIN.
