Description

H2 hollow-specimen setup The purpose of this call for tenders is the procurement of a device (hereinafter also referred to as the "setup") that facilitates mechanical testing, e.g., tensile testing, with hollow specimens that are internally pressurised with gaseous hydrogen (H2). The setup to be procured must cover fixtures to the testing machine and the specimen, gas/vacuum management, and pressurisation. The setup must facilitate workflow where the test specimens are purged with nitrogen (N2), emptied with a vacuum pump, and then before mechanical testing filled with high-pressure H2.
