Summary

Machine-generated summary

The Stadtbahn operator Stadtwerke Muenchen (SWM) invites tenders for the major overhaul under Section 57 of the BOStrab tram regulations and the CTS/M 104 modification of two Munich U-Bahn track vehicles, numbers 8934 and 8935, built by Robel, model 54.17. Main components for the CTS/M 104 conversion are supplied by SWM. After conversion, the contractor must commission Siemens Mobility, the CTS/M 104 manufacturer, to put each vehicle into operation. All work takes place at the contractor's own works, since SWM provide no tracks or workshop halls. The contractor arranges and pays for transport off the depot site, by truck or rail, with pick-up dates notified to the client one or two weeks in advance. Work must follow ECM-IV maintenance certification requirements, with access granted for quality control and formal acceptance after completed test protocols.
