Summary

Machine-generated summary

Ruhr University Bochum (RUB), one of the ten largest universities in Germany, is procuring planning and consulting services for conversions and modernisations of existing campus buildings. The Project Development unit of RUB's Planning and Construction department prepares space and functional plans and user requirement programmes for replacement and new research and institute buildings on its campus, where the state building authority BLB hands over around 36 buildings for RUB's use. The contract covers feasibility studies, potentially up to six per year over the next two years, examining whether proposed solutions meet project objectives in functional, schedule and cost terms. The focus is on building services in institute and research buildings of the engineering and natural sciences faculties, with services under phases LP1 and LP2 following as needed.
