Description

Die Maßnahme befindet in 79098 Freiburg im Breisgau, Bismarckallee 5-7, Regierungsbezirk Freiburg, Baden-Württemberg.Der Bahnhof besitzt insgesamt fünf Bahnsteige. Die Bahnsteige 1 und 2 werden im Regelbetrieb in etwa gleichem Maße von Zügen des Fern- und Nahverkehrs auf der Rheintalbahn genutzt. Bei Bahnsteig 3 wird die Kante an Gleis 4 im Wesentlichen durch Nahverkehrszüge der Rheintalbahn sowie in geringem Umfang auch durch den Fernverkehr angedient. Die Kante an Gleis 5 dient ausschließlich dem Regionalverkehr. Im Regelfall wenden hier die Züge der Elztalbahn (Elzach - Denzlingen - Freiburg). Auch die Bahnsteige 4 und 5, die von den S-Bahn-Zügen der Ost-West-Achse (Breisach/Endingen - Freiburg - Villingen/Seebrugg) angefahren werden, dienen ausschließlich dem Regionalverkehr. Es handelt sich dabei um zwei Außenbahnsteige und drei Mittelbahnsteige. Der Bahnsteig 1 ist an den öffentlichen Straßenraum und das Empfangsgebäude barrierefrei angebunden, Bahnsteig 5 nur an den öffentlichen Straßenraum. Sämtliche Bahnsteige sind zumindest teilweise überdacht. Der Zugang zu den Bahnsteigen erfolgt über zwei Personenunterführungen, die jeweils über Treppen - und damit nicht barrierefrei - an die Bahnsteige angeschlossen sind. Die südliche Personenunterführung (PU Süd) km 208,362 erschließt alle Bahnsteige und schließt zudem an beiden Enden direkt an den öffentlichen Straßenraum an. Die nördliche Personenunterführung (PU Nord) km 208,280 verbindet im Bestand lediglich die Bahnsteige 1 bis 4. Zusätzlich sind alle Bahnsteige von der südlich gelegenen Stadtbahnbrücke, die bei Bahn-km 208,486 die Gleise kreuzt, über Treppen und Aufzüge erreichbar. Im Zuge der Umbaumaßnahme werden Bahnsteige 3 bis 5 modernisiert und umgebaut. Neue Ausstattung, Beleuchtung sowie Aufzüge und Dächer werden im Zuge der Umbau an den Bahnsteigen 3,4 und 5 neu gebaut. Außerdem wird eine Verlängerung der PU Nord mit Anschluss an den Bahnsteig 5 (Aufzug und Treppenanlage) mit Baugrubenverbau im Bereich Bahnsteig 4 und 5 mit Hilfsbrücken Gleis 307 und Gleis 308 gebaut.
