Summary

Machine-generated summary

The Landscape Association Rhineland (LVR) intends to build a new forensic psychiatric clinic, Forensic II, in Cologne-Merheim using conventional construction, incorporating an existing building (formerly House 40) that may be retained and used as a forensic outpatient clinic. The currently used forensic building no longer meets structural and functional requirements and is permanently overcrowded. The project increases the number of places and room sizes and develops forensic care qualitatively and conceptually. The general planner services cover object planning for buildings and interiors, outdoor facilities, engineering structures, traffic facilities, structural design, technical equipment (facility groups 1-8), fire protection, building physics and geotechnical consultancy. After preliminary planning the client will check feasibility; service phases 3 onwards are intended as a second contract stage.
