Summary

Machine-generated summary

Germany is procuring specialist services for FFH monitoring of beetles for the reporting period 2025-2030. The contract relates to Germany's obligations under the EU Habitats Directive (92/43/EEC) and Article 11, which requires member states to monitor the conservation status of habitat types and species listed in the annexes, as well as Article 17 reporting every 6 years to the European Commission. Monitoring uses a national sample of survey plots (max 63 per protected asset per biogeographic region) distributed among the federal states, or a full census where fewer occurrences exist.
