Summary
Machine-generated summaryThe municipality of Waltenhofen plans to build a day-care facility with ten groups in the Hegge district in the Allgäu. The contract covers structural engineering services, work stages 1 to 6 under the HOAI fee schedule. The new day-care centre, comprising a five-group kindergarten and a five-group nursery, will be located in the centre of Hegge and will have a gross floor area of about 4,000 square metres. The building will be a timber-frame construction with exposed structure, so the client expects an attractive design of the load-bearing structure, particularly in interaction with the building services. The award follows a design competition for architecture and landscape architecture. Initially work stages 1 and 2 will be commissioned, expected from early 2026, with stages 3 to 6 to follow, aiming for completion by the end of 2027.
