Summary

Machine-generated summary

The buyer seeks a service provider to carry out a complete sampling monitoring cycle of the European hamster (Cricetus cricetus) in Saxony-Anhalt as part of federal and state monitoring under Articles 11 and 17 of the Habitats Directive. Work covers preparation and field surveys on designated monitoring areas in 2027 and 2028, recording population and habitat parameters according to prescribed monitoring concepts, assessing the species' conservation status using national and state schemes, and preparing, documenting and delivering the data. Each of eleven monitoring areas must be fully surveyed once within the contract period, roughly half in each year with deviations up to 10 percent. Deliverables include an interim report and a final report with digital geodata, data tables and documentation, plus coordination with land users.
