Vantaan ja Keravan hyvinvointialueella tehdään mahasuolikanavan tutkimuksia terveydenhuollon toimialan toimenpideyksikössä kahdessa toimenpidehuoneessa Vantaan Myyrmäessä. Hankinnan kohteena ovat näissä toimenpidehuoneissa käytössä oleviin Olympus-endoskopiatorneihin teknisesti yhteensopivat endoskoopit ja tornikokonaisuuteen laitesidonnaisesti integroituvat laitteet (kuten videokeskusyksikkö, paikanninlaite ja keinoälyavustin) siltä osin kuin laitteet tulevat elinkaarensa päähän ja korvaaminen on välttämätöntä toiminnan jatkuvuuden turvaamiseksi. Hankittavia laitteita käytetään nykyisen hoitokäytännön mukaisiin mahasuolikanavan tutkimuksiin ja hoitotoimenpiteisiin (gastro- ja kolonoskopiat). Endoskoopit ja muut järjestelmän osat tulevat elinkaarensa päähän vaiheittain, ja niiden korvaaminen edellyttää yhteensopivien laitteiden hankintaa.
