Summary

Machine-generated summary

The Swiss public transport sector, namely the Alliance SwissPass, is awarding a distribution partnership for the loading and possible initial issue of the Prepaid Card for public transport and for loading the payment function on the SwissPass. Cards carry a JCB card scheme (contactless only) and a barcode for loading transactions. The partner must operate a nationwide network of staffed sales points accepting cash across as many Swiss cantons as possible, complementing public transport sales outlets. The tender is divided into two lots: Lot 1 addresses convenience stores and supermarkets, Lot 2 service and supply-oriented providers. Amounts are freely chosen by customers, credit is available immediately, and boncard payment & services ag handles administration and technical settlement.
