Description

Przedmiotem zamówienia jest pozyskanie praw licencyjnych do pierwszej w Polsce inscenizacji teatralnej musicalu „The Great Gatsby” („Wielki Gatsby”) przez Teatr Muzyczny ROMA w Warszawie (na Dużej Scenie). Musical „The Great Gatsby” ten miał premierę na Broadwayu 25 kwietnia 2024 roku i nadal znajduje się na afiszu The Broadway Theatre (odbyło się już ponad 650 przedstawień). W premierowej obsadzie wystąpiły legendy amerykańskiej sceny musicalowej - m.in. Jeremy Jordan jako Gatsby i Eva Noblezada w roli Daisy. Inscenizacja została zrealizowana z przepychem, który wywarł duże wrażenie na widzach. Z podobnie znakomitym przyjęciem spotkało się przeniesienie tego przedstawienia na West End w 2025 roku. TM ROMA pragnie zrealizować ten tytuł tradycyjnie już w wersji non-replica (czyli bez powtarzania rozwiązań prapremierowych), z rozmachem, jaki zawsze charakteryzował przedstawienia na Dużej Scenie przy ulicy Nowogrodzkiej w Warszawie i stał się jej swego rodzaju znakiem firmowym. Dodatkowo obecna w tym musicalu stylistyka muzyczna - jazz, swing, tap dance połączony z klasycznym popem i szeroką musicalową frazą - zawsze cieszyła się dużym powodzeniem wśród publiczności TM ROMA (patrz np. wcześniejsze realizacje takie jak „Crazy for You” czy „Deszczowa piosenka”).
