Summary

Machine-generated summary

Trondheim Renholdsverk AS (TRV) is seeking market information through a request for information (RFI) as part of its preparation for a future procurement. Due to the waste regulation, TRV must establish several possibilities for source sorting of household waste for residents in central Trondheim. These mid-city collection points will handle three fractions: plastic packaging, glass and metal packaging, and cardboard and paper. Because the city centre has narrow streets, limited space and dense infrastructure, TRV wants low units that suit the streetscape, traffic safety and universal design, with robust, durable and aesthetic solutions, including semi-buried systems. Suppliers respond using Annex 02, the response form, submitted via the Mercell communication module by Friday 23 October 2026 at 12:00.

Description

Trondheim Renholdsverk AS (TRV) wants information from the market and the RFI is a part of the preparatory work for the new procurement cf. the Public Procurement Regulations § 4 Basic Principles , FOA § 12-1 Preparatory surveys and §12-2 Dialogue with tenderers before the competition. As a result of the waste regulation §10a, TRV must establish several possibilities for source sorting for residents in the centre of Trondheim (household waste). These are called mid-city points and they shall have three fractions: plastic packaging, glass and metal packaging and cardboard and paper. The centre of Trondheim is characterised by a lack of space, narrow streets and infrastructure above and below ground. With regard to the cityscape, traffic safety and universal design, we would like units that are as low as possible. Aesthetics are important, TRV is looking for robust and durable solutions that supplement the environment. Trondheim Cleaning Works considers semi-buried units to be one of several possible systems that are not currently in our product range. Tenderers are asked to respond to this request for information (RFI) by filling in the Annex 02_Svarskjema.Completed form shall be sent through the communication module in Mercell by Friday 23 October 2026, 12:00Se "Annex 01_RFI_oppsamlingsenheter_kildesortering_Trondheim_sentrum" for a detailed description to request information (RFI).
