The Norwegian Directorate of Health awarded a transitional contract for mailing services under the condom distribution scheme. The current contract expires on 31 December 2026, and a new contract for the scheme from 2027 onwards is planned. To avoid giving the incumbent supplier a competitive advantage through limited implementation time, the Contracting Authority extended the current contract with the incumbent for a transitional period of eight months, with a maximum value of NOK 11.5 million excluding VAT. The extension ensured continued distribution of condoms and lubricant while allowing genuine competition for the long-term contract.
