Op 22/07/2021 heeft de RDW een publicatie gedaan getiteld Vrijwillige transparantie vooraf - Aanschaf en support van Utimaco Hardware Security Modules (HSM). Deze publicatie betreft een aanvulling daarop omdat onvoorzien voor de RDW de in 2021 geraamde opdrachtwaarde overschreden wordt. Door de gezamenlijke waarde van deze noodzakelijk geworden opdrachten overstijgt de totale opdrachtwaarde de in de eerdere publicatie opgenomen, geraamde waarde van €300.000,- met €135.000,-. Deze publicatie vormt derhalve een aanvulling op deze geraamde waarde waardoor de totale geraamde waarde uitkomt op €435.000,-. De huidige HSM’s van de RDW moeten vanwege een vervroegde end-of-life datum door de fabrikant vervroegd vervangen worden. Deze end-of life datum was ten tijde van de publicatie van de aanbesteding onvoorzien. Door de eerder dan verwachte end-of-life datum van de huidige HSM’s, is de RDW genoodzaakt om deze onvoorzien tussentijds te vervangen. Vanwege het borgen van de continuïteit van de dienstverlening en de doelmatigheid van een dergelijke vervanging, vindt vervanging van deze HSM’s plaats door soortgelijke HSM’s van een recenter type. Hierbij wordt het onderhoud op deze HSM’s eveneens voor een periode van 5 jaar in opdracht gegeven. 135000
