Summary

Machine-generated summary

The municipality of Utrecht aims to preserve heritage and art collections for future generations and is procuring a new, future-proof depot building that meets current requirements for the management of art and heritage. The design and construction must satisfy requirements on sustainability, circularity and building operation, while taking account of the existing ecological green structure, urban integration and CO2 impact. The depot has high climate requirements: the collections demand careful control of temperature and humidity, requiring an integrated design and careful execution with specific attention to joints and building physics requirements.

Description

Expected award price

likely award for this notice, from its published estimate of €40,000,000
€36.8M to €40.0M

Comparable awards in this country and sector came in at a median of 100% of their published estimate, half of them between 92% and 100%, based on 165 awards of the last 3 years.

Each award is compared with the estimate of the same lots, framework agreements excluded. A published estimate may include options and renewals, so an award under it is not always a discount.
