Summary

Machine-generated summary

Dalkia is commissioning an approved operator to carry out preventive archaeological excavation along part of the planned route of an urban heating network covering the municipalities of Bayonne and Saint Pierre d'Irube. The archaeological monitoring concerns trenches of 2 to 3 km through the town centre, with direct excavations planned in three sectors: Petit Bayonne (antique and medieval extensions, convents, burials, medieval fortifications), Cam de Prats (fortified hilltop site with much older human occupation) and the junction between the EHPAD and the clinic in Saint Pierre d'Irube (Palaeolithic, Neolithic and burial remains). The contract is composite: part is paid at a global fixed price, part via a framework agreement with unit prices per additional excavation and analysis.
