Regionale Verkehrsrechnerzentralen (rVRZ) sehen sich zunehmend mit heterogenen, dynamischen Datenströmen konfrontiert, die über klassische Detektordaten weit hinausgehen. Neben etablierten infrastrukturseitigen Erfassungssystemen wie Induktionsschleifen, Radardetektoren und Videoerfassung stehen zunehmend digitale Datenströme aus Fahrzeugflotten, Mobilitätsdiensten und kooperativen Systemen (C-ITS) zur Verfügung. Diese Entwicklung verspricht eine deutlich höhere Informationsdichte, räumliche Abdeckung und Aktualität, stellt die operative Entscheidungsfindung jedoch vor neue Herausforderungen. Bestehende Grundlagenarbeiten und Leitfäden berücksichtigen die heutige Vielfalt dynamischer, nutzergenerierter Datenquellen nicht ausreichend. Das Forschungsvorhaben entwickelt einen praxistauglichen Rahmen, mit dem rVRZ heterogene Datenquellen systematisch prüfen, bewerten und in ihre operativen und strategischen Entscheidungsprozesse integrieren können. Im Zentrum steht die vergleichbare Beurteilung der Datenqualität unterschiedlichster Quellen - von klassischer Sensorik über Floating-Car-Daten bis hin zu C-ITS-Diensten und OEM-Daten. Die Bearbeitung umfasst Anforderungsanalyse mittels Workshops mit rVRZ-Betreibern, Analyse infrastrukturseitiger und fahrzeuggenerierter Daten, Entwicklung eines Qualitätssicherungskonzepts mit standardisierten Metriken sowie Evaluation auf einem Testgebiet. Die Ergebnisse ermöglichen regionalen VRZ kurzfristig den gezielten Einsatz unterschiedlicher Datenquellen im Operativgeschäft, schaffen mittelfristig Transparenz für Investitionsentscheidungen und stärken langfristig die Position der rVRZ als integrative Plattformen im digitalisierten Verkehrssystem.
