Summary

Machine-generated summary

The contracting authority seeks a provider to continue and operate the 'Bicycle Parking' information centre from 1 January 2028. The centre supports municipalities and other relevant actors with expert advice, knowledge transfer, information offers and practical tools for planning and implementing bicycle parking facilities and bicycle parking garages, within the 'Urban and Rural' special programme for which BALM holds project responsibility. The current assignment ends on 31 December 2027 and the service is to be further developed in line with demand, covering topics such as digitalisation, access systems, data standards, GIS-based planning methods and AI-supported knowledge offers, with an estimated 1.84 million additional bicycle parking spaces needed by 2040.
