Summary

Machine-generated summary

Rhein-Neckar-Verkehr GmbH (rnv) intends to comprehensively and sustainably expand the light rail network in Ludwigshafen, planning extensions in three directions: north, south and west, connecting additional municipalities. The project is divided into 3 lots. Lot 1 covers the northern connection from Ludwigshafen Oppau to Pfingstweide, extending tram line 7 through Oppau and Edigheim, with a 20-minute frequency on the new section while the existing line runs every 10 minutes. Lot 2 covers the southern connection from Rheingoehnheim to Waldsee, and Lot 3 covers the western extension from Ludwigshafen city centre to Dannstadt. The procurement concerns technical planning services for these transport facilities.
