Summary

Machine-generated summary

The buyer is seeking engineering planning services for the full replacement of the Wiehltal bridge (BW 5010 724) on the A4 motorway in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany, between the Wiehl-Bielstein and Gummersbach junctions. The 705 metre steel bridge, built in 1970 over the Wiehl river and damaged by fire in 2004, has reached the end of its life cycle and can no longer cope with daily traffic. The contract covers service phases 1 and 2 for traffic facilities design, including study of five route variants and an emergency variant, and service phases 1 to 3 for structural engineering. Interested firms submit bids through the tender procedure announced.
