Das Leibniz-Institut für Photonische Technologien e.V. schreibt die Anschaffung eines leistungsstarken Raman-Mikroskopiesystems aus, dass primär für die in-vitro-Zell-Diagnostik eingesetzt werden soll. Das System soll die Orts- und zeitaufgelöste Raman-Spektroskopie von Zellen (z.B. Blutzellen, Bakterien, Mikrokolonien, Mikropopulationen) zur Charakterisierung von Zelltypen sowie deren physiologischen Zuständen während der Zell-Zell und der Wirkstoff-Interaktion ermöglichen. Auch bei umfangreichen Testreihen und kontinuierlichem Dauerbetrieb liefert das System reproduzierbare und stabile Messungen, die eine hohe Datenqualität und Verlässlichkeit gewährleisten. Die Kompaktheit der Geräte soll es erlauben, praxisnahe Untersuchungen im klinischen Umfeld (u.a. Validierungs- und Pilotstudien) durchzuführen. Das Gerät muss für den Einsatz unter S2-Bedingungen (Biologische Sicherheit: Infektionsschutz und Gentechnik) geeignet sein.
