Summary

Machine-generated summary

Technische Universität Ilmenau awarded a contract for a research platform for highly automated driving, purchased for the ThIMo centre at the university. The platform is built on a series-production electric vehicle and includes sensor and control systems, a vehicle control interface for drive, braking and steering, calibrated multimodal sensors for real-time environment perception, modular middleware such as ROS2 with APIs, and connectivity components using 4G and Wi-Fi 5 or higher for wireless data transmission, remote logging and teleoperation. The contract was awarded to BrightDrive for EUR 599,244.66.
