Summary

Machine-generated summary

Charité - Universitaetsmedizin Berlin is procuring the installation of a foam extinguishing system (lot VE067) for the rooftop helicopter landing pad of the new Deutsche Herzzentrum der Charite (DHZC) building on the Campus Virchow-Klinikum in Berlin. The landing pad covers approximately 893 m2 and fire fighting is carried out by remotely controlled foam monitors, triggered manually, with alarm raised via the BMZ. The system's technical centre on the 16th floor houses the extinguishing water and foam concentrate tanks and must be included in the sprinkler protection. The new hospital building has around 29,800 m2 of usable floor space, 16 upper floors and 2 basement floors, and pursues DGNB Gold sustainability certification.
