Summary

Machine-generated summary

Complete renovation of the lighting installations at five Wuppertal suspension railway stops: Robert-Daum-Platz, Pestalozzistrasse, Westende, Varresbecker Strasse and Zoo/Stadion. The existing systems are ageing, spare parts are no longer available and the Energy Saving Ordinance requires renewal, partly with rearranged lighting concepts. All light fittings in the suspension railway stop are to be replaced with modern LED technology to achieve noticeable CO2 savings through reduced electricity use. Light bands installed on the platforms between 2000 and 2013 must be integrated, including cable routes and brackets for equipment such as public address systems. Individual lights are adapted to local conditions, and where needed the UPS and safety lighting systems at each stop are also renewed.
