Summary

Machine-generated summary

The University City of Siegen in Germany is procuring architectural and landscape design services for a new building to replace the 'Bluebox' children and youth leisure facility, located in a central urban site next to the 'Bertramsplatz' green area. A 2022 expert report found significant defects in the building shell and structure, so refurbishment was ruled out and a replacement building on the same site is planned, with construction intended from 2031 subject to urban development funding. The procedure is a non-open realisation competition with 15 participants under RPW 2013, followed by a negotiated procedure under section 14(4) point 8 VgV. Both individual offices and consortiums of architecture and landscape architecture offices may bid. Technical and financial feasibility must be considered, and the winning design will support funding applications.

Description

Stufe: LPH 1-4, 2. Stufe: LPH 5-6, 3. Stufe: LPH 7-8
