Description

Die Freiwillige Feuerwehr in Weil am Rhein betreibt im Bestand an vier Standorten eigene Abteilungen. Die Abteilung Stadt hat ihre Wache an der Zollfreien Straße, daneben gibt es noch Abteilungen in den Stadtteilen Haltingen, Märkt und Ötlingen mit Gerätehäusern in den jeweiligen Ortsteilen. Im Zusammenhang mit dem Feuerwehrbedarfsplan ist eine Änderung der bisherigen Feuerwehrstruktur vorgesehen. Neben dem Standort der Abteilung Stadt soll es künftig lediglich einen weiteren Standort geben, an dem die freiwilligen Kräfte der Ortsteile gebündelt werden. Hierzu ist der Neubau eines Feuerwehrhauses am nördlichen Stadteingang im Ortsteil Haltingen vorgesehen. Um die beste Lösung für den zusätzlichen Raumbedarf und die funktionalen Anforderungen für den Neubau des Feuerwehrhauses zu finden, hat sich der Gemeinderat für die Durchführung eines Realisierungswettbewerbs entschieden. Das Wettbewerbsverfahren wurde mit der Preisgerichtssitzung am 02.09.2025 abgeschlossen. Im Ergebnis der anschließenden Vergabegespräche wurde der 1. Preisträger, das Architekturbüro Hippmann Architekten BDA, Stuttgart mit den weiteren Planungen beauftragt. Zur weiteren Umsetzung der Baumaßnahme auf Grundlage des Wettbewerbsentwurfs sind nun weitere Planungsleistungen erforderlich.
