Summary

Machine-generated summary

Planning services for the construction of a new sports hall in Rostock, replacing the existing Fiete-Reder hall, which has significant structural and technical defects making refurbishment uneconomic. The new complex will serve school, club, elite handball and assembly use, with separate entrances for spectators and athletes, a stand for 2,000 spectators and a playing area of around 3,000 m2 equipped with compliant sports flooring, lighting, sound system and scoreboards. The design also includes a separate training hall (40 m x 20 m), a gymnastics area with equipment room and acrobatics facilities, an athletics area with free weights, machines, cardio, crossfit and a 30 m sprint zone, and a weightlifting room with at least four lifting platforms. Competition operations must continue during construction; the old hall will be dismantled after completion. Barrier-free access and energy requirements under GEG apply.
